Actor Park Seo Joon is receiving immense appreciation and praise for helping save a child’s life.

On April 29, KST, Park took to Instagram and shared a handwritten letter with a caption that read, “I’m once again determined to live my life diligently. I hope we meet after you have recovered and are in good health.”

The letter itself appeared to be a token of gratitude from a parent whose child was able to receive life-saving treatment due to Park’s financial assistance. It began with the message, “Thanks to the donation made by Park Seo Joon, my child was able to successfully receive a hematopoietic stem cell transplant. My kid was diagnosed with a brain tumor in January 2024.”

The letter then further talked about the difficulties the family faced while trying to get the child the necessary treatment, adding that though the road to recovery is still long, they have regained hope.

It was a difficult situation, both mentally and financially. When I first found out about my child’s illness, I thought that only our family was unfortunate in the world. I was frustrated. But now that the first hematopoietic stem cell surgery is completed, I am starting to feel a little hopeful. We are still waiting for other treatments, but I believe that my child, who has a grown a little more in the meantime, will endure it well.

The parent also mentioned that when the child was informed that their treatment was sponsored by Park Seo Joon, they were very surprised and moved. In fact, the child has vowed to grow up and become famous as well, so that they can one day thank Park in person.

The letter ended with the author expressing their gratitude for Park’s generosity which has brought the family immense hope and moral support.

Park Seo Joon also shared a separate letter sent by the Samsung Medical Center, which stated that a patient was recently able to get surgery thanks to his donation.
